CONNECTING WITH YOUR ANIMAL TOTEM

The animal totem is animal representation of symbols and messages that nature is communicating to you. The animal totem appears to teach you certain things when the time is right, as long as you’re open to their message. It’s important to be aware of this, as animal totems can appear throughout different spiritual mediums.

To connect with your animal totem begin by visualizations, meditations, placing a picture on the wall, listening to appropriate music as you connect, look into the eyes of your totem animal, and imagine what it is saying to you. Listen carefully and write thoughts and ideas down. Research as much as you can about your animal and see where it may fit into your life.  You will recognise the connection.

Connecting with your animal totem can be a very unique and rewarding experience.  The energy and power of this animal may be very confronting. The key is to be gentle with yourself as you discover patience and understanding with this delightful manifestation in the animal realm.

As you connect with the animal, it may appear to you in dreams, continuously in books, films, pictures and people talking about the particular animal.  In some cases a calling card is left such as a feather, skin and skeleton . For example, one of my animal totems is the owl. I first connected with the owl on hearing its hoot.  It was followed then by a few feathers turning up in unusual places.

 We can have more than one animal totem as we grow through our experiences in life. Nature is a very beautiful and powerful energy and a very healing energy. Nature is truly a magnificent tool to learn and grow with.

 You never know when your animal totem will make itself known to you, so watch nature and your dreams for signs of its presence.

Recognising you value

Through my tarot readings I have discovered that people are afraid to recognise and appreciate their value.   Old patterns can be hard to break. Learn to identify, and let go the old ways of mind conditioning- emotions, attitudes, belief systems and patterns of behaviour.

When you go through challenges in life, in retrospect, you will be able to recognise the lessons that each chapter has uncovered.  This is internal work and hard work so please be gentle with yourself as you go through the steps to make changes in your life.

Dreams are important as they are a link to our creativity. They allude to our future, and arm us with the tools we require to make decisions.Dreams can point to your desires and goals, they can also solve problems and give you warnings. They can also make us aware of people coming into our lives and those departing.  Dreams can give ideas and insight by the use of symbols. This is real magic.A dream journal is an important tool. Writing down your dreams allows you to remember the signs, symbols and messages that appear in your dreams, so that you can reflect on them and utilize their lessons during your waking hours. Dreams should not be ignored, they should be used to understand your life. Dreams appear at a particular time for a reason.

Discover Numerology

Numerology is the study of numbers. Numbers show a great deal about a persons character, purpose in life, motivations and where creativity and goals can be achieved. Palmistry

I thought I would take the time to delve into palmisty and explore aspects of it that may be new to readers. Palmistry is the art of reading the lines imprinted on palm. Palmistry is often considered to be fortune telling, although this is incorrect. Palmistry can be used as a method of character analysis. It opens the clients mind to the many possibilities mapped on the palm.

Palmistry allows the client to look at new strategies for exploring life in a more positive way. Lines are not set in concrete, throughout life they change, the experiences you have in your life can affect your emotions, health, thinking and communication. Learning about the lines on your hands allows you to discover more about yourself and how you experience life.

A common question asked of palmists is in regards to life lines. The length of the life line is no reflection of the length of a life, it symbolizes the quality of life and charts personal well-being and health. The thumb can measure direction in life. I find the thumb to be fascinating, because the whole hand is ruled by the thumb as it is the measure of willpower, tact and logic, and reveals determination and the capacity for leadership.

Your life is filled with many possibilities. All you need do is take a chance to follow your dreams.

Introducing Margaret @ The Owl's Feather

My spiritual path began with my life long interest in astrology. My interest and participation in meditation led me to explore and develop my interest in tarot, palmistry, dream analysis, and numerology. I have also attended workshops in essential oils, crystal workshops, scrying, aura readings, and physic development. These courses and workshops have helped develop my skills, and I have gained experience with detailed readings. These readings can also include angel card readings.

My Sun sign is Cancer and I have a Pisces ascendent. Yes, a double water sign. I also have the Moon in Gemini. This makes communication, with empathy and encouragement, important to me. In numerology I am a number 7, which encourages me to express my spirituality.

I have a love for meditation, for it is during meditation I am able to seek spiritual guidance and find the wisdom and love within. I also have a love of crystals and use these during my meditations. I have the gift of Clairsentience, which enables the ability to sense spirits and the nature of their messages. Sometimes this ability is entwined with a feeling of “knowing” with images.

Communing with nature is very important to me, and I am inspired by the magnificent sunrises and sunsets, such magic. The ocean, and its rhythm, brings peace to my mind and body. I find trees, large and small to be very grounding and giving of energy. Time spent with my family and friends is very important to me. And I enjoy meeting new people.

I endeavor to use my life experience to inspire and motivate others.
